Dr. Ceilidh Eaton Russell is a Certified Child Life Specialist, and a Lecturer in Child Life and Pediatric Psychosocial Care graduate program at McMaster University. She is also a PhD candidate at the University of Guelph and a consultant with Canadian Virtual Hospice.
Dr. Russell’s clinical, teaching and consulting have focused on supporting children, youth and families living with a family member’s serious illness, dying and death. Her research has explored family communication and siblings’ experiences when a child has a life-threatening illness, experiences of grieving youth, and concerns related to parenting grieving children.
