With the recent focus on collaborative robots that aid humans with everyday tasks, our capstone explores the potential of pairing a vision system with a robotic arm to autonomously hand over objects from the robot’s environment to a user (and vice versa). The team is responsible for the gripper design, vision recognition system, and integration of the solution with the existing robot arm.
