Dr. Christopher Christensen is a Pediatric Clinical Allergy and Immunology fellow at McMaster University. He completed a BSc and MSc in Biochemistry in Saskatchewan, followed by medical school at the University of Alberta, and his Pediatric residency in Saskatoon. He plans to return back to Saskatoon when he completes his fellowship to work as an academic Allergist and Immunologist at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital.
In this week's core session of Grand Rounds, he will review the cause of atopic dermatitis, mimics, and treatment options. He will also discuss when to refer and understand the mechanism of how some of the more advanced treatment options work.
