Dr. Roberto Sassi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences, an attending psychiatrist at the Mood Disorders Outpatient Program, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and attending psychiatrist and Medical Director, Ambulatory Services, Child and Youth Mental Health Program, McMaster Children’s Hospital. 

He will review the epidemiology, clinical presentation and treatment of Bipolar Affective Disorder in young patients, and discuss clinical scenarios that are commonly mistaken for bipolar disorder.
