Dr. Lita Cameron is a family physician in downtown Hamilton, Ontario and a Newborn Care Hospitalist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where Dr. Cameron is a clinical preceptor for Family Medicine residents.
Dr. Cameron has a MSc in Global Health from Oxford University and completed her M.D. and post-graduate training in Family Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Cameron is the Global Health Lead for the Department of Family Medicine, McMaster University.
Dr. Laura Erdman completed training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease at the Hospital for Sick Children, and in 2021 joined the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at McMaster Children's Hospital. Her clinical and academic interests are congenital syphilis and infections affecting immigrant and refugee children.
Dr. Andrea Hunter is a hospitalist pediatrician at McMaster Children’s Hospital and maintains a consulting practice at the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre, focusing on newcomer and socially marginalized families in the North east end of Hamilton.
She has coordinated community-based pediatric refugee/immigrant health clinics in Hamilton since 2004, and is a task force member of the Caring for Kids New to Canada, a Canadian Pediatric Society peer-reviewed guide to health professionals working with immigrant and refugee children and youth.
Internationally, she has been involved in global child health education programs in Uganda and as co-program director of a pediatric residency program in Guyana.
