Kate Nelson is a staff pediatrician on the Paediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a Scientist at the SickKids Research Institute, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. She runs the IDEA lab (Integrating Data, Experience, and Advocacy) to support family decision-making for children with serious illness.
