Dr. Emily Fong is a second year developmental pediatrics fellow at McMaster. She completed her medical school at the University of Alberta and pediatrics residency at McMaster University. Her interests include providing behavioral and developmental assessments in school-based settings and supporting the developmental potential of children facing health and social inequities.
Dr. Mohammed Alsaqoub completed his residency at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia, followed by two years of general pediatrics at McMaster University. He is in his second year of the developmental pediatrics fellowship at McMaster. His interests include autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and quality improvement.
In this week's core session of Grand Rounds, they present an exploration of complementary and alternative therapies (CAMs) that are frequently discussed in autism, as well as an approach on how to have conversations about emerging interventions.
