Dr. Kaitlyn Howden completed medical school at McMaster Waterloo Regional Campus and did her general pediatrics residency in Winnipeg through the University of Manitoba. She is currently in her final year of the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at McMaster University, and along the way has fallen in love with the field of pediatric neuro-oncology. Her current research interests are focused on gaining insights into the treatment experiences of pediatric neuro-oncology patients and their families, with the ultimate goal of determining how patient and parent engagement can shape future research and clinical tools for this unique population.
