Description: This project proposes the design and implementation of a gesture-controlled drone with object- carrying capability, operated through a wearable glove equipped with motion and flex sensors. The system aims to provide intuitive, real-time control of drone movement and object manipulation without the need for traditional controllers. The glove detects hand orientation and gesture patterns through inertial measurement units (IMUs) and flex sensors, which are processed by a microcontroller and transmitted wirelessly to the drone’s flight controller. The design focuses on achieving smooth and stable three-dimensional movement, safe operation, and expandable functionality. Advisor(s): Dr. Xun Li and Dr. Bakr.
