Our team, consisting of Nathan Eastment, Adam Fernandes, Jamal Zureikat, Hetash Rattu, and Ryan Bender with faculty mentor Dr. Zeinab Hosseinidoust, is collaborating with Nucor Insulated Panel Group to complete this Capstone project. This project was created through the incorporation of a control algorithm implemented into Nucor's main production process that will control the ratio of pentane as a blowing agent to reach a certain setpoint for an optimal foam front distance.
