Dr. Jennifer Twiss is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. She has been a Neonatologist at McMaster Children’s Hospital since 2013, and is the Senior Medical Officer, Quality and Patient Safety & Experience for McMaster Children's Hospital & Women’s Health programs. She is passionate about all things quality improvement and patient safety, and has particular interest in human factors assessment in patient safety and improving the quality of communication amongst teams. She completed Medical School at the University of Calgary, Pediatric Residency at McMaster and Neonatal Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children. She earned her Masters of Healthcare Quality, Risk and Patient Safety from Queen’s University in 2015.
