In this week's first core session of 2024, Dr. Samiee-Zafarghandy discusses the barriers to providing sick neonates with optimal pharmacotherapy practice and how a focused team with expertise and interests in neonatal clinical pharmacology could support overcoming such challenges. She also discusses the currently existing barriers to providing effective and safe drug therapy to neonates and emphasizes the importance of the role of the Neonatal Pharmacology Working Group.
