Dr. Jenna Ashkanase. Assistant Professor and Pediatric Cardiologist in the Department of Pediatrics, McMaster University. She
previously completed a combined research and clinical fellowship in Pediatric Heart Function and Transplantation through the
University of Toronto at the Hospital for Sick Children. Her research interests focus on the long-term outcomes of children with
cardiomyopathies, specifically the impact of medical and surgical interventions.
Management of pediatric heart failure and transplantation in the current era will be explored through a patient case.
