Gurjit Sangha is
the Palliative Care Facilitator/ Coordinator in the Women’s and Children’s
Program at Trillium Health Partners (THP). She completed her Bachelor of
Science at the at the University of Waterloo, followed by her Bachelor of
Nursing and Master of Nursing at the University of Toronto. She
subsequently completed her certification as a Hospice Palliative Care Nurse.
She worked at SickKids in pediatric hematology/oncology and with the Pediatric
Advanced Care Team (PACT) prior to joining THP in 2017.
Dr. Atiqa Malik
completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the
University of Toronto, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree at McMaster
University. She went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine at
the University of Toronto. Since 2018, Dr. Malik has been dedicated to
providing community-based palliative care and has been practicing in Oakville
since 2021.
