Pediatric sport medicine is an emerging, underrecognized and sometimes misunderstood area of pediatrics. Through this presentation, we hope to highlight what pediatric sport medicine is and what pediatric sport medicine physicians do. Through a series of cases, we hope to clarify what unique role pediatric sport medicine physicians fill and clarify how to make appropriate referrals to various MSK physicians (rheumatology, orthopedics, sport medicine, other).
