Dr. Elif Bilgic is an Assistant Professor and Education Scientist in the Department of Pediatrics and MERIT program. She received her PhD from McGill University in Surgical Education and completed 2 postdoctoral fellowships at McGill; one at the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning, and second at the Simulation, Affect, Innovation, Learning, and Surgery Lab, second fellowship as a CIHR awarded fellow. Her research program is in the field of performance assessment in simulation and clinical settings, focusing on technology, innovation, and collaboration.
