Dr. Christine Wang is a second year pediatric resident and serves as a Refuge Resident Clinic Coordinator, as well as one of the resident EDI leads. Families and youth with refugee experiences face
complex trauma from their country of origin, the migration process and their
country of settlement. This session of Faculty Development develops an understanding of medical and
psychosocial challenges faced by youth in the refugee claimant process, along
with identifying opportunities to get involved with the Refugee clinic.
