Dr. Nouf Alnosani was born in Jeddah,SA. She obtained her medical degree at King abdulaziz university and Pediatric Residency at King Abdulaziz University Hospital. She is almost completing her fellowship training in Advanced General pediatric at Mcmaster University expected to finish in December 2024.
Nouf's interests include medical research and public awareness. She established the Serial Pediatric Public Health Campaigns in Jeddah (home town), which quickly expanded throughout Saudi Arabia.
In this week's core Grand Rounds session, Dr. Alnosani presents a case of chronic diarrhea and failure to thrive (FTT), diagnosed as a rare multi-system condition. She highlights that early intervention can prevent lifelong complications. The case, initially diagnosed in Saudi Arabia during Dr. Alnosani's residency, may be more common than expected in certain populations living in Canada.
