SmartScope is a smartphone-based retinal imaging system that improves the accessibility and portability of traditional retinal cameras. The system integrates optical hardware and smartphone-based software to capture retinal images. This design is intended to assist in the evaluation and monitoring of retinal diseases, particularly for patients and children who experience difficulties with conventional tabletop systems.
