Kelly Nori has been a board-certified genetic counselor since 2017 and is a graduate of the Sarah Lawrence College Genetic Counseling Program. After graduation, she worked in General Genetics and Developmental Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She returned to her ‘home’ of Ontario a few years ago and now works in the Genetics and Metabolics Department at McMaster. She is passionate about patient-centered care and has a particular love for ultrarare disease.
In this week's core session of Grand Rounds, she provides a practical overview of provincial guidelines for genetic and genomic testing in pediatric practice, including whole genome sequencing and other commonly ordered tests. We will also introduce gcConnect, a new provincial initiative designed to support clinicians navigating genetic care.
