This project uses solar energy to extend the flight time of a drone by implementing a two-battery system, with a solar panel. A switching circuit is used to alternate between which battery is in use and which battery is recharging. In order to charge the battery at the correct voltage level, a boost converter has been designed to step up the voltage from 18V to 22.2V.
