We are Arya, Ethan, and Aaliyah, Engineering Physics students supervised by Greg Thomas and Dr. Adrian Kitai. We have named our project TOADS: Time of Arrival Damage Detection System. Our project offers a monitoring device for nuclear waste canisters that can pre-emptively track, in real-time, the location and arrival-time of stress crack formation in a single, low-cost, and remote device.
