Jodi Pereira is
the Executive Director of the Canadian Alliance for Children’s Grief (CACG),
Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children and Families in Guelph and a Volunteer
Director for Camp Erin Toronto.
Jodi was a director
with one of the largest Community Hospice in Ontario for 9 years. She was the
creator of HUUG (Help Us Understand Grief Program) a support program that
serves over 400 grieving/bereaved children/families a year. She organized
and led the Children and Youth Grief Network (CYGN) a regional (GTA)
collaborative initiated in 2013 that inspired and led to the development of The
Canadian Alliance for Grieving Children. She is constantly inspired by the
passion and commitment of individuals, organizations and communities in
supporting grieving people and has made it her mission to figure out how to
help support, resource and encourage them in their work.
