Dr. Joanna Humphreys is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatrics and pediatric palliative care physician at McMaster Children's Hospital. 

In this week's session of Grand Rounds, Dr. Humphreys highlights the role of a pediatrician in childhood grief. She will review what children who experience grief and loss wonder about and highlight questions they ask doctors. A research-based approach on how to have conversations with children about their experience with illness and loss will be presented.
