Dr. Andres Felipe Fajardo is currently a PGY6 in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at McMaster. Known as a "Mac lifer" having graduated from the Mac Med as well as MacPeds, his interests lie within global oncology, health systems research and optimizing care for these patients in both high- and low-resource settings.
In this week's core session of Grand Rounds, he provides an overview of recent advances in the treatment of common pediatric cancers, highlighting innovative therapies and improved survival outcomes over time.
