Dr. Parveen Wasi is a professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. She is currently the Associate Dean of Postgraduate Medical Education and former Chair of the Royal College Residency Accreditation Committee. She has held both positions since 2016. 

Dr. Wasi joined the Department of Medicine after completing her undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at Memorial University. She practices at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre in Hamilton in malignant hematology. 

Dr. Wasi ’s primary academic focus lies in postgraduate medical education. Prior to her appointment as Associate Dean, PGME, she was the Internal Medicine Program Director (2000-2011).
