Seminar Description
In this interactive lecture, Dr Karen Webb will share a critical analysis of the successes and limitations of the previous global public health funding architecture, creation of structural dependency, and subsequent impact of defunding of HIV programs in Zimbabwe. Attendees will be provided with a first-person and real-time ‘blow-by-blow’ account of the impact of stop-work-orders, waivers, terminations, and rescindments over the past year on HIV program operations, health systems stakeholders and recipients of care.
