Dr. Ifatunji's talk and workshop will focus on the theoretical and
practical considerations for using public datasets such as census data
or large-scale opinion surveys to measure identity, and how such
measures get incorporated into regression-based statistical models to
reflect particular understandings of identity. He will also address best
practice in fielding new surveys that involve demographic data.
